The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many of us to figure out how to stay open for business while our doors remained closed, and it has coined a new term and appointment type in the veterinary industry: curbside. The decrease in client contact has been paired with an increase in pet adoptions, leading to packed schedules, inefficient workflows, overflowing parking lots, and overworked veterinarians and clinic staff. This course will identify ways to reduce workflow friction during curbside appointments by simplifying administrative tasks. The outcome will be a smooth curbside workflow that reduces team stress, improves customer experience, and allows for more time spent on the work that matters most: treating patients.
