Physical interactions between cats and owners are critical to maintaining a healthy bond. In people sensitized to cat allergens, attempts to manage the situation can disrupt the human–animal bond. This presentation will provide insight into management strategies veterinarians can recommend to help preserve the bond between cats and cat allergen-sensitized individuals.
