Off-label use of psychotropic medications is well-established in companion animal behavior therapy. This webinar addresses the psychopharmacology behind these medications, as well as the diagnostic and treatment considerations—and the importance of informed consent—when off-label drug therapy is warranted. The applications of both daily and situational pharmaceuticals are discussed, and the possible indications and adverse effects of each drug class are also highlighted.
