Modern transdermal and oral flea and tick control products are remarkably effective; however, immature flea life stages can continue to develop, and fleas will emerge for several weeks following their administration. In this webinar, Dr. Michael Dryden will discuss the implementation of an effective flea control program that encompasses the surrounding premises, shortens the time to eradication of an infestation, and reduces the number of emergent fleas. In addition, this presentation will cover biannual applications of an insect growth regulator into the premises and how it can be a great low-cost flea control system in multi-pet households and provide a great benefit to both human and animal health by reducing numbers of questing ticks.
