This seminar will focus on some of the newer information regarding how cannabinoids might alter the inflammatory response. Dr. Andrew Rosenberg will highlight the use of cannabidiol and cannabidiolic acid in dermatologic diseases, primarily canine atopy. A review of the results of his clinical study will also be shared, with an overview of clinical and cytokine responses in the blinded, controlled clinical trial. Dr. John Loftus will provide an overview of how physiologic doses of cannabinoids can affect lymphocyte, fibroblast, and neutrophil function from a molecular viewpoint to better understand immunomodulation.
