Allergies to cats are the most common animal‐origin allergy and affect about 1 in 5 adults worldwide. Although cats produce several allergens, more than 96% of people with sensitivities to cats respond to the primary cat allergen, Fel d1, a protein secreted in the saliva and sebaceous secretions of cats. Allergen avoidance is the most effective solution; however, it involves limiting interactions with cats or, in some cases, relinquishing the cat. There is a need for innovative approaches to manage cat allergens. This webinar will discuss the scientific basis of a novel approach to simply, safely, and effectively neutralize Fel d1, the most potent feline allergen, utilizing anti-Fel d1 IgY antibodies (derived from chicken eggs) added to feline diets. Efficacy of a feline diet with an egg product ingredient containing anti‐Fel d1 IgY antibodies in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo will be discussed. {{webinarsautomatedemailsregistrationconfirmation::learning_objectives_bullet_2}} {{webinarsautomatedemailsregistrationconfirmation::learning_objectives_bullet_3}} {{webinarsautomatedemailsregistrationconfirmation::learning_objectives_bullet_4}} {{webinarsautomatedemailsregistrationconfirmation::learning_objectives_bullet_5}} {{webinarsautomatedemailsregistrationconfirmation::learning_objectives_bullet_6}}
