Weight loss and poor appetite are common presenting complaints for feline patients.
Management of appetite during the diagnostic investigation
Weight loss and poor body condition are associated with a poorer prognosis with chronic disease.
Ensuring adequate caloric intake and maintenance of body weight in the chronically ill patient is a key management goal.
