Time Magazine reports on the experiences of Black veterinarians. Banfield's chief medical officer, Dr. Molly McAllister, says, "This is absolutely just the start," regarding recent financial commitments and staffing goals. On Sept. 14, Banfield announced a $1 million investment in diversity efforts and ensure at least 30% of their veterinarians and support staff are people of color by 2030.
