At Banfield Pet Hospital, we strive to create a culture of mental health and wellbeing that empowers our people to focus on what matters most: providing high-quality care to pets. As COVID-19 continues to threaten our global health, we have continued to provide essential services to pets while taking care to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and clients.

We aren’t stopping at physical precautions, and have taken additional steps to protect our teams:

• A special COVID-19 pay policy was developed to enable our associates to take the time they need away from work during the outbreak without added stress, whether to prioritize their own health and wellbeing or to care for their loved ones.

• All associates and their families have been given 24/7 access to free emotional support from professional counselors in person, via phone, or through videos calls.

It’s more important than ever that we support each other as we all navigate this unprecedented time. We’re all in this together. Connected by our shared love of pets and the people who give so much of themselves to care for them. Stay healthy, stay safe.
